Back Story

One of the great French actresses, Morgan enjoyed a long and well-respected career from 1935–1990, receiving her own star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 1944, she built a home in Benedict Canyon at 1005 Cielo Drive. However, after WWII she sold the house and returned to France. In 1969, she was awarded the French Legion d’Honneur. That same year, a bit of gruesome history beset the home when the Charles Manson gang committed the Sharon Tate murders at that house. It was demolished in 1994.
