The publisher’s promise:
Ours is the only publication in the art world that focuses on publishing compelling backstories (and equally compelling art) about significant discoveries and rediscoveries. Being nosey art historians, we also bring you behind the scenes and connect you with our colleagues who are proven leaders in this special field.
If you are a collector:
We invite you to purchase the very artworks that illustrate those stories. Indeed, your home or office really can have something in common with the Whitney, the Met, and MoMA. We can help.
Quite simply, you’ll get insights and trusted advice as you discover the most exciting value proposition in collecting.
We also provide very private and discrete advisory and broker services at the very highest end of the art market through our sister company, Private Art Transaction Alliance, LLC.
No matter what your stage of collecting, please know we cherish our reputation for professionalism, expertise, and trust.
So, tell us your wishes for enhancing your art collection.
If you are a late-career artist or manager of an artist estate collection
This is a visual thing. So, the first step is to send us 10–20 digital images of your work. If the images are large, use Dropbox or Hightail. Provide full descriptive details for each work in this order: title, date, medium, dimensions. We also need a brief biography and any other support information you may wish to send via email. We promise to take a serious look and respond as soon as possible. Because we always have a number of projects requiring full immersion in research, writing, and travel, please give us about 10 days. Then feel free to bug us.
If you are an art historian…
We want to learn about your own discoveries. We also want to know if you’d like to join us as a writer for our projects that fit your special interests. We would love to hear from our sisters and brothers who are members of the Association of Historians of American Art (AHAA), the Catalogue Raisonné Scholars Association (CRSA), the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS) — as well as independent scholars.
And for everyone else…
We’re interested in learning your real interests — not social media marketing.
